"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."   - Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
MEC helps to support several overseas missionaries who are involved in a wide range of exciting projects. Take a look at each missionary and project below.

Jon, Jude, Ethan, Joshua and Jacob

Jon, Jude, Ethan, Joshua and Jacob moved to live in Mkushi, Zambia in April 2010. Jon has set up a charity called Dignity which is run from their home area of Manchester. Dignity seeks to pioneer change through evangelism and hands-on development projects. Their predominant focus is to transform extremely poor communities in rural Africa by building sustainable, long-term projects in partnership with local organisations.

Peter and Libbie

Living in Tasmania, Peter and Libbie originally went from MEC to work with New Tribes Mission. They have since retired but they continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ, including reaching the biker community in Tasmania and leading services in church. More recently Libbie has been caring for orphans supported by The Good Shepherd Agriculture Mission in Northern India.

Nelleke and Rahman

Nelleke and Rahman have been involved working in Africa where Rahman grew up. They have helped to run a small NGO which gives health education and farming loans, as well as running a rehabilitation centre for malnourished children and a primary school. Rahman is a pastor and is also involved in training pastors and elders, while Nelleke's training is in Bible translation in which she helps occasionally.

Couple in Africa

We help to support a missionary couple in a certain part of Africa. Due to confidentiality, we are unable to share much more detail about them, but ask that you keep them in your prayers as they seek to make the love of the Lord and the good news of God's saving grace known to those they serve.

Rhamada and Ruth

Ruth and Rhamada currently work translating and recording the bible into a local dialect. They also run a grain bank for people and are giving training in starting up small businesses.
