The Cost of True Discipleship
The Power of Remembering

Leston Blackburn, May 7th

Robert Weston, May14th

Looking at the lives of the early disciples, and in particular, at Jesus' challenge to His disciples, Leston unpacks how the early Church understood the call to discipleship and then explores how this reality impacts our lives as disciples in the 21st Century.
There are many occasions in Scripture when the Lord urges His people to 'remember'. Robert shows why this is such a powerful theme to explore, drawing on some of the verses that encourage us to do so.
The Mind of Christ - The Key to Freedom
The Uniqueness of Christ - The Key to Transformation

Leston Blackburn, May 21st

May 28th

Writing from prison, Paul encourages the Church at Philippi to have the same attitude as Jesus Christ, remembering His example of humility as they face the challenges of life. There is no greater example for us to follow than that of our Saviour, who, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. In this message, we explore what it means to put on the mind of Christ, what this looks like in practice, and how Paul discovered it to be the counter-intuitive secret to true freedom, despite the circumstances we face or the opposition we endure.
Why is it that Jesus could claim to be the way, the truth and the life, the only way to the Father? What is it about His uniqueness that means He alone is capable, called and commissioned to reconcile us to our heavenly Father?

In this message we explore what makes Jesus so absolutely unique as Saviour and as the Sovereign, and how this is key not only to our salvation, but to our transformation.
